Have you ever wondered, how can a fountain pen write either soft flexible or regular hard? The Pilot Justus 95 features an innovative adjustable 14k gold nib that allows the user to make the writing point softer or more stiff simply by turning the tension adjuster at the top of the gripping section. The “H” corresponds to a hard setting, offering smooth writing, and “S” corresponds to a soft setting, offering line variation and a flexible point. The soft setting will allow for greater line-width variation, versus the hard which will write like a traditional stiff nib.
